Yair Yona is a well- known figure in Israel's alternative scene, as the former manager of the alternative label "Earsay"' and current co-manager of the music company "Anova Music" .Yair is also known as a musician thanks to his past membership in bands such as Punch and Jet Sam, and currently Buffalo Boots.In addition, Yair writes the popular blog Small Town Romance that focuses on alternative and experimental music.

Yair's first LP - 'Remember' - will be released by Anova Records on March 1st. The Album follows the paths of 1920s and 1930s Mississippi and Delta blues, country and rag-time, expressed in original, personal compositions , that form the album's diverse 'colors' and experimentations.Among Yair's variety of influences and styles you could name John Coltrane, John Fahey and Bert Jansch (to name a few), world music, jazz and alternative music.
